EQS Management Systems Ltd, launched in 2020 and founded by Melissa Mooney, helps businesses grow, be more resilient and sustainable. EQS Management Systems works with all businesses to identify, enable and deliver the benefits of robust environmental and quality management systems- improved process and resource efficiency, reduced compliance risk and improved competitiveness. Working with businesses to provide solutions, tailored to individual companies, and working to add value and bring about positive change. Having experience in industry EQS appreciates the challenges that businesses face.
Melissa has over 20 years working in Environmental, Quality, Food safety, and H&S management including implementing, maintaining and auditing management system standards such as ISO14001 environment management system standard and ISO9001 quality management system standard. Also an Environmental specialist Melissa has sound legal knowledge and experience of working with licences, consents, waste management, energy and climate change levy, reservoir requirements, incident investigation and effluent treatment.
Having worked in manufacturing in medium sized business such as the family owned Westons Cider, in large corporate businesses such as Allied Mills (flour millers) part of Associated British Foods as well as Vibixa a carton manufacturer owned by Weetabix and also with consultancy experience with very small business Melissa has a wide range of experience, pragmatic, practical and realistic approach.
Working at all levels and with all areas of businesses Melissa is able to understand and manage change. Melissa is passionate about sharing knowledge and supporting businesses develop and thrive.
